Jerky

What is jerky and what is it made from?

Jerky is a high-protein snack made from thin strips of lean meat that are marinated, seasoned, and slowly dried to lock in flavour and nutrients. We carefully select only the finest quality ingredients to ensure every piece is tender, delicious, and packed with natural protein.

Does jerky need to be refrigerated?

No – as long as the package remains unopened, jerky can be stored at room temperature until the “Best by” date. The shelf life of our products is 365 days.

What is the small sachet inside the pack?

It’s an oxygen absorber (“Do Not Eat”) that helps keep the product fresh and extends its shelf life.

What is the shelf life after opening?

Once opened, we recommend consuming the product within 3–7 days. When stored in the fridge or a cool place, it will stay fresh for longer.

Why do some jerky pieces have white spots or crystals on them?

That’s perfectly normal – these are just natural salt crystals that can form on the surface of the meat during drying. They’re a sign of a properly dried, high-protein product and do not affect the quality or taste of the jerky.

What should I do if I notice mould or signs of spoilage?

If you notice such an issue, it’s likely that the package has a microscopic seal defect that allowed oxygen to enter, causing mould to develop. Since we don’t use preservatives or antibiotics, we recommend checking the product through the front window before purchase. If you ever find something unusual, please contact us immediately– we’ll replace the product right away and send the affected batch for analysis.

Prawn Crackers

Are these the same prawn crackers served in Asian restaurants?

Not exactly 🙂 The ones you usually get in Asian restaurants are rice-based, while ours are made from tapioca starch and real prawns. We then season them with delicious flavours like cheese, cream & garlic, and more.

What is tapioca and why is it used?

Tapioca is a starch extracted from the cassava root. You might know it from the popular bubble tea drink – the small pearls in it are also made from tapioca. In our prawn crackers, tapioca gives them their light and crispy texture.

Are prawn crackers gluten-free?

Yes – traditional prawn crackers made from tapioca starch and prawns are naturally gluten-free.

What is the shelf life?

The shelf life is 365 days. You can find the “Best before” date on the back of the package.

Do prawn crackers require special storage conditions?

No special conditions are needed. However, if you plan to keep an opened pack for later, make sure to seal it tightly, as the crackers easily absorb moisture and may lose their crispiness.

Coconut Crisps

What are coconut crisps and what are they made of?

Our coconut crisps are made from the flesh of ripe coconuts. We slice the coconut into thin pieces, bake them, and mix in natural ingredients such as Parmesan, mango purée, or vanilla extract. All ingredients are 100% natural, giving the crisps their unique and delicious flavours.

Are your coconut crisps healthy?

Yes! Our coconut crisps are a natural source of healthy fats (mainly MCTs), fibre, and essential minerals such as potassium and magnesium. We keep the natural coconut oil inside the crisps instead of extracting it – helping to preserve their full nutritional value and support energy, metabolism, and brain health.

Are coconut crisps gluten-free and vegan?

Yes – coconut crisps are naturally gluten-free and suitable for vegans. However, some flavours may include additional ingredients (such as Parmesan), so we recommend checking the ingredient list to make sure it fits your preferences.

What is the shelf life and how should coconut crisps be stored?

When unopened, coconut crisps stay fresh for up to 1 year. After opening, we recommend consuming them within 2 weeks — although if stored in an airtight container, they may stay fresh for longer.

What should I do if the coconut crisps lose their crunch?

Coconut crisps can easily absorb moisture and become soft. To prevent this, store them in a tightly sealed package in a cool, dry place.

Can coconut crisps be used as a topping or ingredient in meals?

Yes – they’re perfect as a crunchy addition to yoghurt, porridge, smoothie bowls, salads, desserts, or ice cream.
